Love

Let me bear my broken bones, To the morning winds , cool and fresh, Let my weary feet dance with the fish, To the gentle rhythm of the midday sea. Let me sway, east to west, To the afternoon breeze, As it holds me so gently, Let me sing the old rusty song, To the sun so bright, as it stares at my flaws. Let me feel the warmth of her heart, The feel of her pulse! The love in her eyes! As she sings so lovingly, By the fire glow. Let me feel the love, So deep yet so brutal, As it breaks my baby bones, Piece by piece, So beautifully, Until only poor copies of my being, Remain for my Beloved.
