Love is.....closer to you than the stars;
So reach! Take hold with your heart.
Love.....knows no distance; 
so come! Be warmed by its fire.
Love....enters through the humble door;
Just open! What are you waiting for?
No season is right for love;
Love can blossom anytime!

Oh wow Jim - I have to admit i have been prolific since i joined the site just a year ago yesterday - having never written a poem since I was at school I think I must be making up for lost time!!! I was born in Selly Oak simply because my sister was born therel but I grew up in Derby returned to Birmingham, married and lived in Selly Park until we moved to the isle of Man in 1996
