Love

Love is to inner peace
What seed, soil, sun
Is to the plant: vital.

Love is a sea, a vast sea,
The limitless horizon its limit,
The blue azure sky its lid.

Love is a sea, a deep sea,
The bottomless abyss its floor.

Love is a vast sea
Love is a deep sea
With dizzying immensity
With inextricable mystery
With soul stirring melody
With divine soothing suavity.

Yet love cannot be taught
Love cannot be bought
Love can only be caught
For love to be caught
Love must be part
Of all we do
Love must be part
Of all we refuse to do
