LOVE
Love is a magic?
or merely another illusion?
I met with the storm in silence
fell in love, filled my life with colours
He said that he loves me, I believed
his words were velvet shadows
hallucinated my mind
kept my eyes closed
sang hymns of lustful desires
We were getting close to closer
I gave him my heart, soul, body
kneeling down, burnt in his flame
whatever he wanted, I surrendered
All he took for granted, again believed
Now, I am looking at his picture
It’s hazy, faded
didn’t betray me
rather gifted me pain wrapped in love
stabbed my heart with actions
also healing my wounds with words
Now it’s only a maze
I feel lost within his feelings
A melody of love shattered but sweet
bounded me in chains
his memories crawl like a ghost in my veins
Once I kneeled before him, now to the alter of absences
try to break the spell
a haunting lullaby for sure I can never escape.
Every shadow whispering’s his name
emptiness tries to grab by my waist
hope with a scar, burning up
I fell in love once again
to save my life
It’s easier to live haunted
than to die in grief
Dawn will come soon.
but I don’t leave the darkness he lives
And only in shadows I survive.
