Love

What is love but a feeling
An emotional inspiration of softness
A heart they say it comes
Love, both hurt and joy we know

Is it really of a emotional heart
Or perhaps a soul, a being inside we love
A light within the darkness depths
Alive we are inside we tingle

To be near, far, even in mind it wonders
Strong, true, can't wait to be near feeling
A part of us we tend to cut off
As if a switch we can control
Within, lingering like a constant power surge

Love, none can deny its existence
A touch of softness,an awh' moment we smile
A kind word we can not hide in ourselves
But live what makes us all we are
Love, one another is in the other
To open an eye is to see truth undeniable
