Louisiana Bayou

Louisiana bayou full of pythons and alligators
The boatman glides through the water holding his breath
Wondering if something will get him
By falling out of a tree or overturning his flimsy boat
His journey feels longer today than ever before
Horror story of alligator eating a man on the news this morning
