Lotus Soul

lotus
floating in
pond surrounded
by filthy water
remains dazzling clean. It's
peaceful unmoved by surrounds,
joyous in self, spreading joy like
the eternal soul living in heart.
We are immortal soul, not the body.
Mortal body clothes the soul within heart.
Soul changes its attire at death, birth
until its liberation from
the cycle of birth, rebirth.
Soul radiates joy, bliss.
Purpose of human
life is to see
lotus soul
within
heart.
