In time, I can perceive beyond the quiet of a chapel all the wonders of the lotus flower opened, warm, simplistic, beautiful, fragile diluting my silent prayer of the hour, multicolored blended poetic words of innocence and soul delights pubescent pinks, yellows, blues, simplicity unheard globular green pod spiritual inner sights; medicinal propagational bloom a thousand bygone years old treasures and wonders exhumed with ancient stories to be secretly told; indulgent inebriations lost and misbegotten bypassing the sweetest memories of lives and loves too easily forgotten impassioned embedded over centuries; but for you, but for me, counterparts rewriting the blessings seized come to recognize hopes and dreams set free; giving release of the mind, the heart that love breathes in every lover who risks their heart to open the soul's hidden inner power bowing, submitting to the swelling start of the budding and blossom of a lotus flower, both beautiful and magnificent, gift from above spiritual and divine embellished in the wonders of God's love, your heart forever held safe, within mine. for Mystic Rose's contest, Lotus of My Heart 12-31/2020
