Lotus

Lotus

	Cold perspiration
Flows off the petals of the lotus,
	It falls on the
Delicate branches of her,
	Washing away the
Tears in a all so cleansing tone,
	Clearing away the
Sins we have caused in its wake,
	Bending and tearing
Throughout the lotus’ intricate trail,
	Destroying this
Natural seemingless beauty,
	When will the rains
Learn from its consequences,
	To leave natural
Beauty alone and learn to change.
