Lotto Lament
lotto results come
and lotto results go
once again I'm not a winner
of any amount of dough
I had already planned
how to spend the loot
wildly anticipating
my gamble bearing fruit
feeling disappointed
at such a poor result
I reminded myself firmly
it was all my own fault
my frugal disposition
and fantasy world within
means I never buy a ticket...
but I still expect to win
