Her name is not given in the Bible which is perhaps fitting as she was chattel and Lot named not his goats, sheep or cattle, although it was rumored that he named his dog. Besides, it was raining when she turned looking back on Sodom and was turned to salt, which all too soon, was one with the earth.

That is interesting poem and an amazing sculpture. I have seen salt lakes and the formations remain for years without the weather wrecking them! What is the history behind this one?

Thanks Krish. Sorry I can't help you on the picture/sculpture. I too thought it was amazing, but the page I took it from didn't go into details of either the picture or the sculpture. The url exceeded the character limit for this comment but if you Google Lot's wife - images it is in the top row.
