Lots To Catch

Come April There's lots to catch Spring is fading out Flowers are wilting No new flowers on their way But before sunrise Step into a field Stretches of golden fields Will greet you dancing in the breeze Wheat stands tall All ready to be harvested Farmers get busy Procuring and harvesting They store some Sell the rest In open markets We take it We bake it sometimes The other we make Something else Farmers are thrilled There's excitement in the air Their long drawn out labour Will soon bring result They had slogged in the fields Unmindful of weather conditions To see their golden fields Now there's music and dancing Their families are rejoycing There are feasts held And prayers too So there's no rain for a while There's such joy all around All debts will be cleared They'll lead a happy and comfortable life.

This is beautiful, I can see seasons pass by, and how that reflects in the lives of farmers, their families, and in nature. Welcome to PoetrySoup :)
