Lost You Love

You make this so hard,
wanting you in my backyard.
Looking at the stars,
but you're behind bars.
I can't handle your lies,
but I'm not good at goodbyes.
Love is an ignorant thing,
but I know what yours can bring.
I lost you love.

A very strong write Alex, sad yet I felt strength in your words, a knowing that one will not settle or be less than to please another. Excellent piece, a pleasure to read.:-) blessings, lynn p.s. you are a talented 'old soul' Alex. Whatever you do, keep writing, don't allow anyone to tell you otherwise.:-) This is a great place for you to learn and share your poetry. Read poems you like, follow the poets ask questions (I do, lots..lol) enter contests..yes! you honestly, are gifted Alex :-)
