Lost You

Lost you
I tried to hold us together
I put up with your unkindness -
More than I should have
I saw the red flags waving at me
I turned blind
I loved you
Something about you draws me to you
So I turned a blind eye
For love-
So one sided
I didn’t realize how such a fool I was
