Lost Smile


 Seasons changed, and the rose has lost her smile
 In a while, beauty goes
 and now she'll bow in repose
 As summer comes to a close

Awwn, this is so melancholic and hued with nostalgia, dear Joseph... I love how you've used metaphor and symbolism here in such an effortless manner and conveyed some deeply vulnerable emotions. All the beautiful things are fleeting, yet they are bound to be reborn in the nature in one way or the other...
