Lost Love

I have no memory of its companionship. Solace gloom surrounds me, slipping away in the distance. Lost forever, never to find it, only a shadow of what was. Words never to be spoken again. The silence, suffocating me while being romanced. As a bride who lost her husband on the wedding day. Empty covered bottles, never to be filled, collecting dust. Taking me further away, without being close. Searching for happiness, never to be found.
