Lost Lost Lost

LOST! LOST! LOST!

Neither the purse
Nor the pen
Not money not Jewell
It is notified to all of you
A soul is lost from the heaven
Long ago on earth he dwelt
People used to call him Bapu

Simple outfit great heart
He was fearless never frightened of getting hurt

Not only fought but also taught
Equality, forgiveness, truth & a lot

Adore the good avoid the bad
He was true caretaker of whole mankind

Neither accept torture nor choose war
Turn up to nonviolence, love & peace.. Forevermore

But now where to find him in present
I searched everywhere & asked everyone here

Some pointed to a picture hanging on office wall
Some showed him printed on rupee notes in the pocket of all

His related articles kept safe in museums
& his important messages, pressed in books.. Said librarian

His mere pictures are everywhere
But his priceless values are lost
His priceless values are lost
Our "BAPU IS LOST "

Bapu = Father (father of our nation)
NOTE; collaboration work of Sakshi Singh (me) & Simran Singh (my sister) on the occasion of "Gandhi jayanti"(birthday of the great soul Gandhi -2nd October)

He set such a great example to the whole world not just the people of India. If everyone followed his example on how to live life what a wonderful world it would be. Well written Sakshi and Simran. Tom.
