Lost Inside My Head
A mass of jumbled words,
Locked inside my mind,
A number of them I want to say,
Some I just can't find.
The will eludes me,
To speak the words I want to say,
My mind and body a prison,
Each and every day.
Maybe I can use actions,
As they speak louder than words,
I wish I could be free from this torture,
And fly high with the birds.
A million thoughts,
Locked inside my head,
Everyone around me walks on eggshells,
Careful where they may tread.
Oh how I do wish,
I could talk to you,
It would make it easier,
And you'd understand what I'm going through.
