Lost Insanity

---a song I wrote based on some  friends' expierences---

Less and less places I can hide
Whispering secrets abound
And I’m still trapped inside
Shuddering chills all around

Red rubies dry in the night
Crystals shimmer in light
And all the while you stand and stare
Seeing the pain you cause, but don’t care
Now you drown in vanity
And I’m losing insanity

I wish you would understand
What it is you do to me
I cannot take a stand
And I will never be free

Red rubies dry in the night
Crystals shimmer in light
You come around to me
Causing the bruises I see
We’re living in tragedy
And I’m losing insanity

I turn my eyes away from you 
Pray to God to end this pain
Wait for you to do what you came to do
And I’m burning in shame
