Lost In You

Amidst the shadows of your past, struggling to find your path
I, try, to find you, your soul’s core
The curse causing sore, pain
The strain to maintain
A way to regain your heart’s fame
Cast away the blame which brought only shame
Reframe from his name
But lean towards mine
Bestow thine eyes to the sky
To find, a savior amongst the constellations
My heavenly reservations
Are reserved in you
Where I dwell, causing your heart’s swell
Following a lost trail
Must find you, must prevail
Serenade you internally while pleasing you eternally
Reassuring you externally
That you are I
And I in you, to soothe, your southern groove
And prove myself worthy, to court thee
I know the Lord blessed it
For I am lost in you, and there is no exit
