Lost In the Battlefield

Looking for a place to call home,
In the depth of a cold night.
When all seems lost and narrow,
You need a place to retreat to.

Sometimes you feel so lost,
In the dark when no one's around.
The battlefield inside your head shrieks,
As your hope and determination dies.

But the fight is not yet finished,
As the storm starts to calm.
The victory you find within yourself,
When your loneliness is defeated.
