Lost In My Thoughts
How long has it been?
How long have I been writing?
Did I miss dinner?
Has the sun gone down?
Is it rising in the east?
I could not hear the music I was playing
The radio’s battery died long ago
How could it have been silent for so long?
Could I have been lost in my work for so long?
Time went past without me noticing
I was sitting in my chair typing on my computer
Right where I started so long ago
Thinking and writing
Not noticing the world around me
I am forever lost in my thoughts
