Lost In Loneliness

When a heart breaks who hears the shattering sounds?
When sorrow fills a soul who hears it while it drowns?
So bound up is the world that we must go it alone.
No one hears the sounds, its a deafening tone.

That broken heart knows the sounds and searing pain.
That broken heart knows loneliness and familiar rain.
That broken heart will always seek but never find,
That broken heart will knock till lost are soul and mind.

Weak is the heart when life drains slowly from the eyes,
Breath to take is labored, as the soul is tilled with lies...
Slowly falling to the ground, each movement charted well,
Frame by frame is edited, slowly falling into hell...

Sadness is a friend that will walk with me each day,
As the days grow longer there is nothing left to say...
Hollow is the look that from the eyes does dimly glow,
In the end the heart is empty and nothing there will grow...
