Lost Heart's of Autumn
Today-all of love dropped away
among leaves of sadness-
My love abandoned and forgotten-
like the lost hearts of autumn-
Shadows arrive on wet footsteps-
I sob at their feet leaving
ashen rivers-staining the earth.
Life has changed and a flower appears with
a cold light lifting me in its arms-
as if I had never loved-
It leaves a kiss that wounds my face-like
a drop of phosphorous leaving me its burning.
Who will receive the gifts of my love.
Forgive me if I am not living-if I am alone and
forgotten-like the lost hearts of autumn.california Blue
