Lost Heart
She was not whole
And she would never be
Bound by her tears
Parts of her were trapped in worlds that ceased to exist
For she had given up fragments of herself
That seemed to vanish in the countless pages that she had read
Buried underneath the words that had torn her apart
Her heart was lost
