Lost For a Moment

I stood still on a path
Snow glaring in the sun
Blinding me to hear
Icicles dripping
Lost for a moment
I can see us at the carport
Working together
The edges now flapping in the wind
Our laughter resonates with me
I start walking slowly
One step forward, I think
One step forward for now
