Lost Cause

A plethora of knots came undone,
An amazing friendship torn apart,
Now she holds the loaded gun,
With it pointed straight at my heart,
Heavy clouds block the sun,
You were a lost cause from the very start.

Lost friendship can be just a devastating as lost love. You've written that so well here with a metaphor(i hope lol) that rings true to the pain of it. Xo
