Lost But Not Alone

she walks along the soft green grass, listening to what the creek tells her,

because he abandoned her in the forest.

shes wary of accepting another,

when another approaches she doesn't know what to do.

because he abandoned her in the forest...

this one stands up beside her and holds her steady.

when another approaches she doesn't know what to do..

but his eyes aren't cold like the last one, his words not empty promises,

this one stands up beside her and holds her steady.

she is wary of accepting another..

but his eyes aren't cold like the last one, his words not empty promises,

she walks along the soft green grass, listening to what the creek tells her...

I enjoyed reading your poetry today Jordyn. I am looking forward to tomorrow and what I might read of yours again. Never let your pen lay and dry out. The best to you in your writing endeavors whatever they may be. Love, Carol
