Lost and Found

You were lost for an hour... Then I found and followed Rose petals on the snow path Through the woods. Step ny step, in your tracks to the frozen pond, There you were with that smile, Hot chocolate in a thermos and ice skates for two. You held a single rose in a home made paper vase, I smiled when you handed it to me. We skated to the music you hummed in my ears and Suddenly you stopped and on bended knee You pulled a little box hidden in your pocket. Oh, I have never regretted saying yes. I lost my heart to you and found my forever love. Cynthia APWLTS

Cynthia, I love this romantic poetic revelation of being proposed to. Your last line is brilliant and could stand alone. I am giving it a 7 because I found it to be so inspiring. Blessings
