Lost and Abused

Evil lurks behind someone's mind
No more sinister person will you find
Take an innocent and keep them bound
While the world wants them to be found.

Three young ladies lives you waste
All for your own selfish taste
Slaves to all your heart desire
While your insides burn with fire

Brutality and beatings common place
It is a total horrible disgrace
That you can take a young life
Rolling it with turmoil and strife

Lock the door and throw away the key
Forget the courts and the plea
Now it is your turn to serve time
Justice for a monster is divine.

HI PHYLLIS, this is a very touching subject. Many will read this and relate to this kind of abuse or other forms of abuse. God, bless us all, especially the one's who found the strength in knowing we are not alone..... Congratulations, in Susan's "ABUSE" contest... Goodnight **PD

Hi Phyllis; I am so glad that you wrote ths poem. I am still reading about it. They say that we are not suppose to judge, but it's hard not to - when things like this happen. The thing is that we never know who these monsters are. They look so normal. I agree with you. Have a good night....... Lucilla

I heard about that from my husband then my son..I still haven't heard the details..It would have to be a person who has been exposed to or reared in such a way that would even know how to do what they did..I just can't imagine anything like this..Thanks for stopping by..I appreciate your visits...Sara

I'm glad you chose to write of this. The guy was a monster. It's in the contest for abuse, right? It needs to be if it is not. Good seeing you today, Phyllis. Time for me to get to my class now.
