Notes About The Poem

Lost

I ponder a purpose from above
I really could use some of his love

Searching deep from within
I wonder how things will end

If I could shed a single ray of light
It would bring me smiles of delight

If a smile to a child, I could bring
My heart would feel fresh as spring

Coming to the aid of one in need
This is how my heart seems to feed

Wiping a tear from a soulful heart
Helps keep me from falling apart

If my life has not been in vain
Why then do I suffer this pain

I am still lost on this planet we call earth
Why have I been this way since birth
