Lost

Silently, he ponders and wonders, And wanders through his desolate mind of accidents and happenstances. Washed away, burned away and faded into the deep corners of his consciousness, Lay that fateful time of total terror and panic To rear its sickening head upon occasions of familiar face. This monster should have been slain when the memories of her face dissipated into darkness. Over time, his soul disappeared, blackened with sin and hatred for humanity. He merged with death, and became one so isolated that no light could reach him. The infection that caught hold of him had spread to affection and intention. He no longer had a respect for life, for he had lost his. Stuck in this purgatory of repetitive thought and motion, All he could hear was her heart ceasing to pump life through her body And her last sound fading. Lost and disillusioned, he left the memories to die a death deserved by his regret.
