Lost

You’re just a ghost
I can’t listen to your voice
But where did you go
No, I can’t hear a noise
These words in my head screaming out your name
Why did you go and leave me burdened by your name?
Even if you have gone away
I still carry the burden of your name
It’s heavy on my chest
Slowing me down as I try to run
The weight is hurting my head
Spinning and throbbing like know tomorrow
As the little voices in my head scream out your name
Wait…

I wrote this poem about the loss of someone, and then the person slowly begins to lose their mind, until they begin to experience hallucinations and then hear voices
