Loss of a Pearl

                                               Loss of a Pearl

                                 In the dim SHADOW of moonlight
                                 She MUTTERS her wrath in sorrow
                                   As she looks for her rare JEWEL 
                                   Called up to the GATE of heaven
                                    In the very prime of his youth:
                                    Who can restore such a jewel!
                                  Who can console such a mother!
