Loss and Gain

They wait
for the promised
golden days
wth hope.
But in the shadows
some trembling
with fear.
On the same road
one going with hope,
another going shrunk
with anxieties.
One to lose most what he has,
another to gain more than
what he possesses.
To some
coming of the dawn,
some afraid
it is the coming
of dusk.

A profound flowing canvasing Akham, of the juxtaposed renderings of the realities of life's renderings. Thanks for the enlightening awareness of being thankful and prepared for all. Most of all, thanks for the encouraging inspiration in the dept of this poetic canvasing. One. Peace and Love.

This poem mirrors what some refer to as "unfair" treatment, and it raises food for thought that could lead to never-ending debates! In the long run it would be wise to accept our destiny and do our best to live happily! Regards // paul

I find this to be an interesting poem. Forgive my saying , but it reminds me of a litter of puppies. The puppies are picked on personality. Some are shy and just right for the novice pet owner. Another may be courageous and will need a firm training. Then there are the ones in the middle, a sort of every man's dog. I like your poems.

There is the smooth and the rough. We just have to live on as best as we can.

Hi Aham. Sometimes the worst things happen to the best people and the best things happen to the worst people.. Whatever happened to you accept it. Because God loves you just the way you are. And he knows when you do evil and when you do good. I think you do good.. Pangie
