Loss

Some things you don’t notice,
  Till they are gone,
  And when they are,
  They seem so conspicuous,
  Only by their absence.
  Looking as you always did,
For something that was always there,
When it was, I didn’t care,
  But now they’re gone,
No one can fill the abyss in my heart.
