Loss
I hate to see you hurting
It breaks my heart in two
Because you are my friend
And I care so much for you
I know how you are feeling
I have felt the same way
But you need to remember this
It gets better with each day
Some people don’t understand
“It’s just a dog or cat”, they say
Too bad their hearts can’t feel this
Unconditional love in every way
My thoughts are with you and yours
As you say goodbye to your friend
Remember how happy he made you
Remember his love till the end
