Loss

Would crawl to you if I could, I still smell you in those special places I hear your voice sometimes and follow the sound until I face an empty space I close my eyes and see your beautiful face, masked with lies, promises of endless tomorrow's I touch your soft silky hair and my palm tingles I open my eyes as tears drop to my thighs I live like this now Wishing I could join you, six feet deep, to escape this pain.
