Loss

Friday you were rolling high
Only to wither away
In the end of days
My sorrow fills my pain
To only see you in pain

Laying there silent
Glazed eyes dimming out
Drifting in and out
From this side to eternity

I’m restless in thoughts
Shrouded behind blurry eyes
Looking through stained spectacles
Silently alone
To come home
