Losing You

Losing You
I’m losing you
A vicious never ending cycle
I can feel it seething inside of me
Obliterating life in moments too small to count
Truth is lost. All but a game
Sense you in a beat but watch you disappear instantly
Losing your every word every emotion crushed in the turmoil
of destinies quest to ruin me
Screams of desperation burst from my lips
in the silence that suffocates my being
Only thing left of you a shadow
Lies fed to me by my heart
Betrayal that cuts through infinite layers of my soul
Burning my insides
Vanishing slowly never to return
Light or darkness meaningless
All succumbed in a black hole
Fire crackles making a low rumble within
Vivacity it once held perishing
Extinguishing its life for nothing remains
Only small breaths to fulfill final duties
