Healing Rain Poet I do not know?

Losing Myself

I don't know why I chase this shadow
The one that moves as I reach out
I don't know why it follows me
Always seeks me out
Lost within a dream, from which i can't wake
Is it just fooling me, 
All my happy, it does take
Why is the shadow here, does it come in peace
Or is it just lonely
And wanting attention from me
It could be that it has a gift, to see others secret or lies
But does it use the gift for good
Or is it all just humorous lies
