Losing My Words

A million poems begun
Some just don't work
I'll look back in on them later
Or someday
If I can remember what scrap they're on
Or what pile they're in 
Are they in a notebook
What color
New or old
Everyone stop
And look
I've lost my words
Are you making a list on the back of my words
I'm just asking
Still looking
Agony
I know what it needs to be complete
If my words still live
Damn I hate this
Losing my words
