Losing Her

With eyes wide she reached for me;
our fingers could not touch.
She cried out to me, and I saw;
But no sound reached my ears.
She fell away from me;
My arms not long enough to grab her.
No net below to break her fall and spare her the loss of her children.

Reads like an awful dream. Excellent write but so, so sad. Thanks Sarah for your comment on my poem. It was only a short lived moment in time for me, but it was painful. Hope things improve for you, as far as your comment goes. love, shar xoxo
