Losing Everything

All I wanted was a final goodbye
Though that you could never grant me
I reached our far and then I cried
A sorrowful ocean or sea

Though that you could never grant me
Feelings of overwhelming woe
A sorrowful ocean or sea
Is all I’ve come to know

Feelings of overwhelming woe
Like a drifting log, I roam
Is all I’ve come to know
The sadness of leaving home

Like a drifting log, I roam
I reached out far and then I cried
The sadness of leaving home
All I wanted was a final goodbye
