Loser

“I’m sorry I FORGOT to call,”
He apologized repeatedly.
Not realizing that he said the word
FORGOT

Days go by…
Nothing at all

“Hey babe, I have been so BUSY,”
He explained.
Not realizing that busy meant his favorite
GAME

Days go by…
Nothing at all

“I have not talked to you in like FOUR days, that makes me sad,”
He cried.
Not realizing that I didn’t buy any of his bull.

Days go by…
Nothing at all

“Stop apologizing, it’s perfectly fine,”
I said.
Not realizing that I lost my battle once again.

Days go by…
Nothing at all
