Lose
Have you ever felt in trouble?
Or so out of place,
Like you’re trapped inside a bubble,
Trying to win a race.
Like your backs against the wall,
And you’re trying to break free,
Like you can’t make the call,
To let them see what you want them to see.
Do you try hard every day?
To change how they feel,
Today is your day,
To show that you are real.
Will they notice that you are there?
And that you are trying to change,
Will they notice you are scared?
Of what you may lose or gain.
