Lord, I Seek You

Lord, I seek* You and Your compassion… Always ready since my regeneration Always available for my sanctification That I may be more faithful in my spiritual devotion. Lord, I seek You midst Your grace… Always marvelous since my pardon from sins and hell’s trace Always wonderful for my conviction’s strengthening brace That I may be more committed in my Christian race. Lord, I seek You with Your mercy… Always sustaining since my ransom from Satan’s piracy Always abounding for my testimony’s efficiency That I may be more diligent in my holiness-walk’s consistency. Lord, I seek You along Your peace… Always soothing my soul since my healing from iniquities’ disease Always reliable for my comfort while Your heart I strive to please That I may be more fervent in my faith, while in praying, I don’t cease. Lord, I seek You upon Your Word… Always at work since my inclusion in Your divine record Always on duty for my transformation as life-changing sword That I may be more steadfast, resisting to be worldly-devoured.
