Lord, Help Us
Lord, I know that there is something,
That you want us to do together.
What it is exactly- I don’t know.
But I do know that every moment
That we spend together it slowly
Begins to show. It is hard to do this:
The feeling is so unusual. But I know for
A fact that you don’t just want us to be
Casual. I’m madly in love with him after
Only a few months, and a bunch of
Stupid stuff that we both did. This is so
Weird but I know you work mysteriously.
So I pray constantly that we,
Walk in the path that you designed for us.
Lord, I know you want us for something
That I can’t quite pinpoint. He knows too.
I love him; he loves you, and most of all,
We love You. Lord, help us to do what we
Are equipped to do not for us but You.
The kingdom needs us to do your will.
So that we will finally get what is for us.
You gave us the tools and the shoes,
To walk together in love and not shame.
You know our family by name. Give us the
Strength to endure whatever pain that
Comes along with our walk. And I pray that
You will constantly talk to our hearts,
And that we never part from each other,
Or You because I just know deep down,
That You have given us together.
A tough task to do and serious storms,
To weather. Lord, help us to remain on task
And I pray that our love will forever last.
