LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY WORTHY REDEEMER

Key Verse– Revelation 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY WORTHY REDEEMER
Lord God, You are my worthy Redeemer with Your salvation-voice
Thank You for looking at me along Your merciful poise
As You did find me in Your love’s choice
Despite my sinfulness prevailing in transgression-noise.
Lord God, You are my worthy Redeemer with Your gracious eyes
Thank You for taking me out from hell full of deceit and lies
As You did sanctify me to become one of Your saints without any disguise
Despite my filthiness, slain by worldly vice.
Lord God, You are my worthy Redeemer with Your perfect wisdom
Thank You for having pity on me from my humanistic boredom
As You did rescue me to enjoy Your blessed freedom
Despite my inability to serve You in Your kingdom.
Lord God, You are my worthy Redeemer with Your great compassion
Thank You for conquering me with Your regeneration from pride’s oppression
As You did invite me to experience Your wondrous conversion
Despite my need only You can suffice with Your peace-packed provision.
Lord God, You are my worthy Redeemer with Your directing hand
Thank You for justifying me with Your holiness-demand
As You did impute to me Your righteousness of truth’s stand
Despite my difficulty to comply to Your command.
Lord God, You are my worthy Redeemer with Your immutable Word
Thank You for immersing me into Your truth’s record
As You did call me to follow You along servanthood-ford
Despite my reluctance because I had been doubt-devoured.
Lord God, You are my worthy Redeemer with Your quickening might
Thank You for pulling me from haughtiness-height
As You did drive me to face Your Lamb’s meekness-light
Despite my anxiety caused by lack of divine insight.
