LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY TRUST UPHOLDER Lord God, You are my trust Upholder, ever-breaking my stubbornness Thank You for Your guarding holiness That freed me from sin’s captivity and selfishness Toward eternal deliverance by Your salvation-righteousness. Lord God, You are my trust Upholder, ever-binding my bad practices Thank You for Your goodness’ graces That drive me vain personal races Toward virtuous testimony, giving You my praises. Lord God, You are my trust Upholder, ever-bringing my heart to Your constant cleansing Thank You for Your purging of divine rinsing That sanctifies me from guilt’s oppressing Toward received forgiveness midst sincere confessing. Lord God, You are my trust Upholder, ever-blowing away my pride against vanity Thank You for Your exemplified humility That abases me from arrogant tenacity Toward joyful obedience to authority. Lord God, You are my trust Upholder, ever-building-up my faith’s might Thank You for Your Scriptures’ principles always right That converted me from skepticism-blight Toward peaceful submissiveness as my believer’s delight. Lord God, You are my trust Upholder, ever-bending my will along service-fervour Thank You for Your compassion of gracious savour That turned me from wayward endeavour Toward guided walk through Your direction-favour. Lord God, You are my trust Upholder, ever-breeding my personality by Your tender mercy Thank You for Your Word with admonishing and exhorting persistency That nourished me from ignorance of deceitful ecstasy Toward my spirituality, prospering through Your best excellency.
